The '''ACFR''' is the City's audited annual financial statement, prepared by the accounting division of the [[FinanceDepartment]] and presented to the [[CityCommission]] with the auditor's reports.

The Commission accepted the ACFR and audit reports for '''fiscal year 2025''' at [[CityCommission2026-01-20]], carried 5-0.

The external audit is performed under contract; a three-year audit contract with '''Eide Bailly LLP''' was approved at [[CityCommission2025-02-04]]. The [[AuditCommittee]] oversees external audit coverage, reviews accounting policies and reviews the financial statements before they reach the Commission.

The City posts the report on its website. It is the best single document for anyone trying to understand City finances beyond a single year's budget — it carries the fund balances, the long-term debt schedule and the statistical section that the budget resolution does not.
