- In January 2026 the City noted that staff were reviewing and proposing code changes to comply with the [[MontanaLandUsePlanningAct]], and that current board members would continue to serve as needed until the code could be amended to say clearly which bodies hear appeals. The question was taken to the Commission at [[WorkSession2026-01-20]] under the heading of MLUPA code compliance, variances and appeals.
