+ Public Works runs the City's physical plant: streets and traffic, water, sewer, storm drainage, sanitation, and the engineering that builds and rebuilds them. Administration is at 1005 25th Avenue NE and engineering at 1025 25th Avenue NE, in the Public Works complex.

+ The City received the NACWA Peak Performance Gold Award for 2024 for the [[WastewaterTreatmentPlant]], which the City owns and which Veolia North America manages and operates under contract. The Gold Award requires a facility to have had no violations of its discharge permit for the calendar year.
