River's Edge Trail

The trail system along the Missouri River through Great Falls, maintained by the ParkAndRecreationDepartment. The City publishes an interactive trail map and a River's Edge history tour, and the Mayhem and South Shore trails sit alongside it.

The ParkAndRecreationBoard listed RET trail improvements among its project priorities at its February 2026 special work session, alongside replacing the Elks Riverside Park trail and overlaying the Gibson Park trail.

The Black Eagle Dam drawdown has its own City page and affects the river corridor.
