= Street Maintenance District =

The citywide district that funds street maintenance from an annual assessment on property, levied by resolution of the [[CityCommission]] each August after a public hearing.

* '''Resolution 10644''' did so for FY2027, adopted 4-0 at [[CityCommission2026-08-18]]

= What it pays for =

Street maintenance, sweeping, sanding, snow and ice control, pothole and surface repair, run by [[PublicWorksDepartment]]. Larger reconstructions are usually funded separately, from capital, grants or [[CommunityDevelopmentBlockGrant]] money, and come to the Commission as individual construction contracts — 4th Avenue North, 7th Avenue NW, Carter Park, 8th Avenue NW and East Fiesta Street all appear in the 2025-2026 record.

The condition of the network is measured by the '''Overall Condition Index'''. Public Works presented an OCI assessment review to the Commission at [[WorkSession2025-04-15]].

A separate '''General Boulevard District No. 3570''' and the '''special improvement lighting districts''' are assessed on the same August agenda.
