= Water Treatment Plant =

The City's drinking water plant, run by [[PublicWorksDepartment]], drawing from the Missouri River. The department also operates a water testing lab and publishes annual Consumer Confidence Reports on water quality.

Treatment chemicals are bought on annual low bids brought to the Commission together — liquid aluminum sulfate, liquid ammonium sulfate and liquid chlorine, all approved at [[CityCommission2025-04-15]].

Water system revenue bonds through the DNRC Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Program: Resolution 10594 on reimbursement bond regulations at [[CityCommission2025-08-05]], Resolution 10605 for $2,000,000 at [[CityCommission2025-10-21]], amended by Resolution 10614 at [[CityCommission2026-01-06]], and Resolution 10634 for $5,020,000 Series 2026C at [[CityCommission2026-07-21]].
