The City Manager is the chief executive officer of the City of Great Falls and is responsible for the overall management of City operations. The CityCommission appoints the Manager and the Manager serves at its pleasure; the position is not elected.

Greg Doyon is City Manager. The Commission conducts an annual performance and salary review in a special meeting — see SpecialCityCommission2025-03-18 and SpecialCityCommission2026-03-17. At CityCommission2025-04-01 the Commission approved an amendment extending the term of the employment agreement by three years.
Jeremy Jones is Deputy City Manager, appearing in that role in the minutes from late 2025. Bryan Lockerby served as Deputy and as Interim City Manager at points in 2025 and 2026, and City Attorney David Dennis served as Acting City Manager in May 2026.
The Manager's office sits in Room 201 of the CivicCenter, 2 Park Drive South. It also carries the City's boards and commissions administration and the AdvisoryCommissionOnInternationalRelationships.
The Manager, or the Deputy in the Manager's absence, opens each regular meeting's agenda approval and gives a miscellaneous reports item.
