The Board of Trustees of Great Falls Public Schools, School District No. 1. GFPS is a separate government from the City with its own elected board, its own budget and its own levy elections.
Members as posted by the district: Gordon Johnson chairperson, music director emeritus of the Great Falls Symphony; Kim Skornogoski vice-chairperson, United Way marketing director; Marlee Sunchild, retired educator; Paige Henning, behavioral support specialist; Bill Bronson, attorney; Amie Thompson, executive director of the 10K Small Businesses Program at Great Falls College; Craig Duff, retired.
Meets — regular board meetings are generally the second and fourth Monday of the month at 5:30 pm in the Aspen Room of the District Offices Building, 1100 4th Street South, with policy committee meetings on the preceding Wednesday at 3:30 pm and work sessions called as needed. The district publishes a board meeting calendar each year.
Minutes are posted about two weeks after each meeting; recordings about five business days after. The whole board can be reached at [email protected], and the district notes that email to that address may be subject to public inspection under MCA 2-6-102.
