Great Falls Fire Rescue

Great Falls Fire Rescue, GFFR, provides fire suppression, rescue and emergency medical response. Station 1 is at 105 9th Street South; there are four stations, plus the FireTrainingCenter at 1900 9th Street South. The Fire Prevention Bureau handles inspections, burn permits and the Safety Inspection Certificate programme.

Chiefs appearing in the record over 2025 and 2026: Jeremy Jones as Fire Chief through much of 2025, Jeremy Virts as Acting Chief from late 2025 and as Chief in 2026, with Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention Mike McIntosh? standing in and serving as Acting Chief at points.
