The Great Falls Metropolitan Planning Organization is the federally required regional body for transportation planning in the Great Falls urban area. City planning staff serve as its staff; Andrew Finch is the senior transportation planner in that role.
The MPO takes in the PlanningAdvisoryBoard, the City of Great Falls, CascadeCounty, the Cascade County Planning Board, the Montana Department of Transportation, the Federal Highway Administration, the TransitDistrict and other local, state and federal agencies with a transportation interest.
Two bodies guide the process:
Both are subject to the OpenMeetingLaw and post agendas and minutes like any City board.
